Delete your account

Last updated 8 October 2026

You can delete your PharmaBells account yourself, from the web app or the mobile app. No call, no ticket. Which option you see depends on your role.

If you are a staff user (pharmacist, cashier, manager, accountant)

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Security on the web, or Profile in the app.
  2. Choose Delete my account.
  3. Enter your password, tell us why, type DELETE and confirm.

Your name, email, phone number, photo and login are removed immediately and every signed-in device is logged out. The invoices and records you worked on stay with the pharmacy, as the Drugs & Cosmetics Rules and GST law require, with your identity removed from them.

If you are the pharmacy administrator (account owner)

  1. Open Settings → Company profile on the web, or Profile → Close pharmacy account in the app.
  2. Enter your password, tell us why, type CLOSE and confirm.

The whole pharmacy account closes for every user. It stays read-only for 90 days so you can download all your data or reopen it. After 90 days, all personal data is deleted or irreversibly de-identified; only the statutory sales, purchase and tax records are kept for the period the law requires.

To leave a pharmacy that should keep running, make another user the administrator first, then delete your own account as a staff user.

If you cannot sign in

Email akhil.cyberbells@gmail.com from the address registered on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Deleted: name, email, phone, profile photo, password, sign-in history, device registrations, notification preferences.
  • Kept, de-identified: invoices, stock movements and audit entries that reference your user, because the pharmacy is legally required to retain them.
  • Kept by the pharmacy, not us: any customer or prescription records belong to the pharmacy; ask them directly about those.

Questions go to the Grievance Officer, Akhil Kumar, at akhil.cyberbells@gmail.com or +91 75600 29425.
